Ever noticed in the sketch when Ernie sings to Cookie Monster "If I Knew You Were Coming, I'd Have Baked A Cake" Cookie Monster puts out the candles with his hand without flinchign once?
Surely if kids tried that that would hurt them a lot.
Weird no?
Well I'll be dipped!
I just now saw Ol Smokey sing "U Really Got A Hold On Me". Apparently, it's not as scary as I always thunk it was. Who knew lightning would strike twice?
My favourite Sam moments is when he said the difference of immoral and illegal:
"Immoral is doing bad things and illegal is me with a tummy-ache". Then the date looks at him confusically and he adds sarcastically : "I didn't write it".
And how about when the guest star told him to look at...
Anything the Cookie Monster did to get a cookie always cracked me up. :D
Also The Mad Painter sketches were hilarious. (especially #8) :p
And you can't go wrong with the parodies they do. :)
I know this sounds crazy coming out of me but I would want to see Ol' Smokey sing "U Really Got A Hold On Me".
I figure to overcome this 20-year old trauma, the best cure for me is to see the clip again.
If it worked for "The Word Is No", then who knows what will happen for Ol' Smokey?
Does anybody remember the lyrics to this song?
All I know is that it begins something like:
"Take off your left shoe. That's a very nice thing to do"
I think that it was sung by the Count.
I'd do anything to see the Swedish Animation Number Cartoons again. Escecially the one I've never seen like:
8 legs on an octopus
8 cows
2 farm animals
5 worms
Oh to see those would be divine.
Try this classic:
When Cookie Monster gets bothered by a pesky little buzzer, when he is on a picnic, he gives the pest a Z, right?
Why would he carry a Z around?
As we all know in some Mad Painter sketches the bald guy is referred to as Mac.
But was Mac his real name? If not then does anybody know what the actors name is?
I've been wondering this for a decade and a half.
Try this classic blooper:
When The Mad Painter paints a 10 on the stool, it ends up on Mac's coveralls right? But wouldn't the 1 be upside-down since it was a two-stick 1?
I just saw on youtube what was unanimously considered the funniest Mad Painter sketch ever made: when Paul paints an 8 on Mac's big bald head. :D :p
Classic, if I do say so meself.
