Jim Henson co did the video for Supergrass's "Pumping on your stereo", that looks very Muppets, very season one! Not quite what your after , though.

The Twiggy episode-it was the phantom of the muppet show backstory...broadcast in the uk around christmas time. I found it supprsingly sinister considering the general tone of content in the show at that time. I remember thinking -"well thats christmas ruined then!":)

That Kinks classic was never on the muppet show,sadly. Would have been a great spot for Uncle Deadly. I could just imagine him lounging in a deck chair sipping on his ice cold beer. More predictably Gonzo could have sung it;)

I've just watched it again, the lighting is a combination of purple, blue and pale yellow. Is this the TOTP version? Did the yellow version precede it? Any help? Thanks!:confused:

Yes it's the yellow, The blue was used for "Top of the Pops"...i think.

The good-Kermit,but very Henson....can't do whitmire Most Oz characters apart from Sam the eagle Scooter Sweetums Uncle Deadly both versions. I mean Jerrys voice for the Twiggy show is noticeably different from deadlys debut on Price...
