Coolness
Wow!!! :o hee hee...I'm a little behind on the news.
I just visited the USPS site and saw the Henson stamps!
They are so awesome!!! I can't wait to buy sheets and sheets of them.
The Jim Henson stamp is gorgeous! And all the other muppets look excellent too.
:flirt:
Ah, what a...
Hey, Happy New Year all :excited: we be already an hour into the new year.
I'm also having my typical boring, yet relaxed evening.
Just here watching The Tonight Show and Regis and drinking sparkling juice.
Woo hoo! I was watching PBS earlier tonight,
and they're were having a Disco special...
I watched The Muppet Christmas Carol this morning on, um , the Hallmark Channel.
Ya know, each time I watch that movie, I just love it more...really need that DVD.
Michael is just incredible. He's performance is so powerful and his emotions.
:flirt: And what a lovely singing voice!
The whole...
I'm not sure if it's been asked before...
but does anyone know the complete song list in the medley
that they sing at the end of the original MFC?
All the songs in the order they sing them.
I think what confuses me most is the original and edited version,
and so when I watch...
I agree. I just watched The Muppet Christmas Carol this evening.
And it's hard to keep the eyes dry though the movie.
Michael Caine does a great job, especially the scene when Belle leaves him.
I get so weepy during 'Bless us all' everytime.
I never cared much for Muppets Babies, perhaps my least favorite Muppet program.
I did watch it sometimes...
Of all the characters I like Baby Kermit best, he was cute and liked his voice.
;) I think my most fave Jareth outfit of all is the white one with the feathers.
(the one he wears at the end of the movie)
Woo Hoo! hee hee...
*fans self*
Excellent! I've been wanting The Muppet's Christmas Carol on DVD.
I haven't really looked around for it because everytime I look for a DVD, it's out of print...
or it's really super expensive.
Sigh, I should get that one soon, I never bought it on VHS either,
I just have the soundtrack to it.
I finally caught up on "The Cat Who..." series by Lilian Jackson Braun. :flirt:
Now I've read all of 25 books, I'm waiting for 26 in arrive in paperback.
(The Cat Who Talked Turkey)
Currently I'm reading 'An American Life by Ronald Reagan' (his autobiography).
I love reading biographies and...
D'oh! I missed that. :(
I've haven't watched SNL for so long,
sheesh, they finally have something good on...
Oh well, I'm sure that they'll rerun it.
:)
Oh goody gumdrops! This set looks really good :)
Sigh, I don't have any of the figures yet.
The last time that I was at Suncoast, I saw a bunch of Muppet Show stuff.
I'll have to go back and look now.
hee hee...I still want a Zoot.
Wow! That is the best Jareth costume I've seen in a long time.
Bet that was fun to make as well. I never had the skill for designing that stuff.
Very Cool.
my reply
This is quite an interesting topic, as I've been think of it recently...
and I finally realized that I am not a Beatles fan. Could never get into them.
S'pose I'm more of a 'Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons' gal. :flirt:
I do like a few of the Beatles songs, but not enough to...
I've been here since last August (2003). So, almost a year and half now.
Sigh, I had over 300 posts but I got bumped back.
Grrr...:p
Anyhoo, I haven't been on much in the last few months because my Aunt died
this past summer, actually in August. She was so sick for such a long time.
:cry...
Oh wow! Pops is so cool! Excellent!
:o actually, I didn't know what his name was until I looked at the figures.
I always wondered what his name was and never really knew.
I didn't see the Lips one listed, where's a photo of that one?
The only way I'd accept Guy Smiley's return, is if Jim Henson himself was the voice.
*sniff* I miss them both so very much. (and Dr. Teeth too)
Otherwise, I would be cool to see Sherlock Hemlock and the Amazing Mumford again.
:)
