Petey was kind of like that cute big brother you wish you had. He always stuck with me. They said that David, in the 70's, was the guy every kid liked. Well, to me Petey was the one I liked.
Does anyone remeber Micki from the eighties. He resembled the Karate Kid and wore a red headband. He was in a lot of episodes but unlisted in the wikipedia SS character list.
:mad:LOL: Piggy was an important character, but as far as female characters went, I prefered Janice. Often times I find myself comparing Piggy to my little sister, who has anger management issues. Janice is cool. She plays guitar and acts like she's stoned. BTW, was she named after Janice Joplin?
Did anyone own any of the childrens book that came out in the 70's and 80's?
I had the one where Grover didn't want you to turn the page because he said there was a "Monster at the End of this book"
I also remember getting out "Ernie gets Lost" from the library. It potrays Ernie as a...
Oh and how about that one time when Gordon's nose grew... Anyone remember that. He got this long *** nose and needed a nose warmer. I've never been so scared in my life. It still scars me to this day.
IDK about that one... But do you remember loud and quiet with :)Kermit "MR. Green Frog! Mr.Green Frog!" and "Mr. Green frog hurt Elmo's feelings" I laughed, because it reminded me of my sometimes manic husband.

I pretty much disliked Grover till I read that line in the book. Then I understood that Grover is me. I am a second born child. Hey you know what I loved? Remember when Grovers mouth was stuck together with peanut butter and the guy discussing the letter "M" had no idea?
As the book said, you either love Elmo or you hate him. Personally I think Elmo is incredibly huggable. LOL, even if I love the :grouchy:Grouch! One of the things that amazed me, was that for a long time Elmo was a discarded puppet that no one knew quite what to do with.
