A few years ago Frank Oz was on the UK breakfast show "The Big Breakfast" some one asked him about Fozzies name and he said he was named after Faz Fazakas.

both gonzos and animals pupils came off without leaving any kind of marks or residue i just wiped over them with my sleeve before sticking the new pupils on.

The pupils come off really easily and leave no marks i just scrape them off with a finger nail.

Fozzie will make a great puppet.

yeah it's weird when you are used to a look for a character then you see a different design, Trekkie will be red kate will be light purple etc.

no i got no explanation regarding character changes maybe it's because the show i'm making puppets for is so close to the west end show in terms of distance they have got the licence to put the show on but but the puppets have to differ.

i am currently doing a full set of puppets for a licenced performance of Avenue Q but all the characters have to be re designed so they arent too close to the originals i had already started Nicky before they told me this so i have to re make him.

it was weird cos i live 5 hours drive from london i've only been there twice and i bump into Frank Oz just ramdomly in the street he was in a bit of a rush cos he was going to a restaurant but he stopped for photo's he was telling us about death at a funeral and i gave him a business card well...

i met Frank Oz last year in London i'd gone down to watch Avenue Q and just bumped into him in the street i didnt get an autograph cos neither of us had a pen but i got a photo with him he was in town promoting Death at a funeral.
