Congrats! So cool to have a real Henson prop! The skin is foam latex? Does he have mechanics inside?

Hhmm now that I compared it with movie still and the DVD it even looks like the hero shard which Jen carries to the castle. Anyone else has good screenshots from the movie?

It is a real prop used in the movie THE DARK CRYSTAL. I guess this one was used in the scene where Aughra dropped the shards to Jen.

Yes, I did start when the movies came out, but to be honest I found most of my stuff on Ebay. I think I use it since 1997.

I doubt they can sell them for these prices but who knows... Anyway, his better more complex works arent for sale.

It is a fan made product. They were selling them for about USD 100.- There are some collectors at yourprops.com who have it. You should try to contact them, somebody might sell it. Good luck!

Yes, I got the original foam latex heads and was able to carefully cast them. Now they should last a lifelong.

There were some on Ebay. You may still find it.

Thank you! I wish I could show all this stuff personally since the pics arent doing them justice. Hasbro should re-release the Dark Crystal figures one day, I think its such a cool concept. I think you will love the busts. They are far from perfect, but still nice. The die cast miniatures...
