I realize there are more serious comics out there. I have no problem with those. I don't even have a problem with cute normally and can even enjoy cute things from time to time. Family Circus is a bit much for me. It's cool if you like it though. The world would be a pretty boring place if we...
Much as I want Hong Kong Phooey and Rocko ( If they make him ) I've kind of reached the point where all my toy money goes to electronic pet type things like Furby and FurReal Friends. I think the new TMNT figures are the last action figures I'll ever buy.
Man I hope this doesn't suck.
Peanuts was a huge part of my childhood. I may have said this somewhere before but there are only three celebrity deaths that really hit me hard. One was Stan Winston, another was Jim Henson and the third was Charles Schulz. I'd hate to see someone crap all over...
Well it's better than implying he was going to be taken away to be dissected by government scientists anyway. That would have tied with Dinosaurs for most depressing series ending ever.
I think they pretty much did the same thing with ALF. It ended with a cliffhanger that had him being captured by the government. But at least ALF got a movie to kind of wrap it up. On an entirely different network I might add.
Truthfully, nothing certain internet fandoms do surprises me anymore.
Adventure Time is one of those shows I'm surprised at myself for liking. It's utterly bizarre. The type of thing I usually avoid like the plague. And yet I enjoy it. I'm not sure why.
It's kind of hard to cobble together any kind of Canon with the Muppets. I like to think the events of The Muppet Movie happened but after that I don't know. I know I don't think Gonzo is really an alien. That was more of a what if type scenario. I also don't think Muppet Babies happened. It was...
I wouldn't have expected much from the Christmas special. The Turtles don't seem to do well in live action unless they have movie level funding behind them. Look how bad The Next Mutation turned out.
I've never seen it but I've heard it's pretty much cringeworthy. That and the Turtle Christmas video. Without seeing them I can't really judge them, but even if they were as bad as I heard I still couldn't hate them.
Those scenes choked me up too. And it's rare I get choked up during a movie.
Though I do prefer the second film I enjoyed the third film. It had it's faults but it wasn't really as bad as most people say. Probably could have used some better villains though. The only problem I had was when I...
Wow. I always figured nostalgia could only take you so far. There are plenty of things I loved as a kid that I now realize were utter crap. Some of those things I still kind of enjoy due to the nostalgia factor or the fact that it's so bad it's good. Barney just doesn't strike me as a show with...
Sesame Street too complex? Heaven forbid there be a children's show that doesn't talk down to children rather than treat them like brain dead slugs the way Barney does. I take solace in the fact that Sesame Street is still popular while Barney's well on his way to obscurity.
