Yeah it could be cool. When I first thought about them being spread out everywhere I thought that Piggy would be a washed up star in Hollywood or even in rehab (talk about current)...
Oh, and I thought of the PERFECT guest star that I definitely would love to see in it who has worked with the...
Yay Rowlf!
And Rowlf is definitely in it...

This movie is gettin' lot's o buzz!:sympathy:
I'm kinda scared though about the voices...
I just saw this article:
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/movies/a92956/segel-new-muppets-movie-is-classic.html
Speaking about the movie's plot, he said: "It's a classic story. It's the Muppets needing to get back together to save the show...It's going to take place all over the world...
It could happen, i'm friends with a lot of the people at the studios and have had amazing opportunities to meet some of my favorite stars. Spike Jonze being the most recent - he as you know is directing the new "Where The Wild Things Are" with puppets created by Henson & Co. (My post on that...
You nailed it frogboy:
"The oil appears to simply be a plot device with a wink at current events."
It's all just plot devices we are hearing at this point. Wait until they really get in there and start drawing the characters - it changes, & evolves.
It's all so exciting; i'll let you know...
Would you guys stop obsessing over the modernization. It should be enough that we get the words "incredibly old fashioned" out of Segal at this point:
He tells CHUD that their movie "is going to be incredibly old fashioned, with the familiar Muppet characters putting on a show to save an old...
Did you see the chipmunks? I mean money aside that was a piece of crap...
I don't think the muppets need a reintroduction - I think they need proper character development.
And yes, that includes pepe.

Whoever made the remark about Micky Rooney & Judy Garland being in a 100...
The first movie I ever saw in the theater was "The Muppet Movie"... I was 6 years old and my mother took me. Of course I don't remember much but, the one image that stuck in my head was of Kermit riding the bicycle and his long legs... I was hooked and of course there was the Muppet Show. I...
I only found 2 animals on ebay - does that mean he is selling out? There were lots of gonzo's.
Hey I just saw that guy is back on Amazon selling a bunch of muppet replicas...
I agree Sarah - it's definitely in the two year range and actually that is pushing it.
Your figures on production are almost right - sometimes pre can be shorter.
To write it varies too. I think Stallone wrote Rocky in two nights on a napkin or something crazy like that. It's basically 120...
TWO YEARS...? I'll be dead in two years! haha. I'll certainly be older and looking more like a muppet - CAN I BE IN THE MOVIE?
*Whistles;*
Life's like a movie, write your own ending
Keep believing, keep pretending
*Sets up a tripod, pulls kermit replica off shelf...*
