Danger Mouse and Powerpuff Girls both announced for comebacks

Juxtaposing the silly & whimsical with the dark & morbid is definitely PPG's theme, though this one actually does it with ideas and subject matter rather than just the settings. At least Him is still slated to appear, as he's in the intro. I'm sure they'll be saving him for the real F'ed up...

    Merger Mania strikes back?

Looks like Pfizer won't be merging with Allergan after all after Obama struck this obvious tax-dodging move down. :) http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/07/business/dealbook/pfizer-allergan-merger.html?_r=0

    Any Bronies on here?

We Muppet fans should all be familiar with the Gift of the Magi plot, though the latest episode put a nice twist on it in that only Pinkie Pie sold her beloved party cannon to get Maud a gift for her pet rock, though Maud didn't trade her rock for something for Pinkie's cannon in return. In...

    The breakfast cereal thread

The Simpsons and C.C. Lemon, anyone? And because it usually airs on expensive satellite networks, most Japanese people are more familiar with the characters as mascots for this soft drink than for the TV show. :)

    Uncle Grandpa

I don't like Uncle Grandpa as much as the other CN originals, but this is indeed infuriating for CN to pull something as backhanded as this. If the network heads have just come right out and said that it's ending, I wouldn't be as mad about this decision. Let's hope that Steven Universe...

Another Stupid movie to Overreact to...

The character may be a Mexican stereotype, but he also kinda isn't in that he's quite heroic and hard-working. And he's a successful restaurateur if you count his role in The Looney Tunes Show.

Mike Tyson gets ironic Adult Swim show

There will be a 3rd season airing in less than 2 weeks! :) https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10153963817606745&id=67985126744

Danger Mouse and Powerpuff Girls both announced for comebacks

It was a nice parody of The Hangover, going by the title. And at least the candy didn't turn them into violent junkies this time. :D They even called back on Bubbles' Spanish-speaking ability during "El Flashback-o". So the new writers seem to be savvy-enough fans of the original to make...

    Uncle Grandpa

It was great to see UG help out a kid again, even if it was just part of a movie. There, it's clear that his stupidity is really all for show, and all the mistakes he made were so he can teach young Jessica a lesson in the difficulties of superheroism.

Danger Mouse and Powerpuff Girls both announced for comebacks

I do like the PPG reboot so far, but I'll agree that it has the potential to be better. Shows that start off slow and a little awkward have a better chance at improving, as we all know by now. I liked the Derbytantes in the 2nd episode, and how they have a man (cisgender or otherwise) on their...

Sony ditches hybrid Smurf movies, goes to straight up CGI

The movie now has a new, less stupid title called Smurfs: The Lost Village. And they were able to snag Joe Manganiello for Hefty and Jack McBrayer for Clumsy! :) http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/movies/2016/02/11/smurfs-lost-village-sneak-peek-joe-manganiello-jack-mcbrayer/80182954/#

Dreamworks' "Home" to become a Netflix series

I also felt that Reese Witherspoon was unremarkable as Ginormica in Monsters vs. Aliens. The other celebrities carried the film better, especially Stephen Colbert, Hugh Laurie, and Will Arnett. Maybe because those guys have their roots in comedy and have more of a knack for voice acting. Maybe...

    Questions about anything

That's because the movie studios were still paranoid about the idea of movies being available to own on video, believing they would cause piracy to run rampant.

Danger Mouse and Powerpuff Girls both announced for comebacks

Nope. she was a straw feminist character in the episode "Equal Fights" where she convinces the PPGs to copy her man-hating ways. http://powerpuffgirls.wikia.com/wiki/Femme_Fatale

Personally, I'd love to see a one-on-one battle between Manboy and Femme Fatale. :D

He was also the lovable Badger from Breaking Bad. :)

Dreamworks' "Home" to become a Netflix series

I like the stylized look of the characters. Reminds me a lot of Flapjack, which is no surprise as it's being co-developed by Thurop Van Orman. Also, Wayne Knight will be among the cast, which should be worth a watch for him alone. :)

    We Bare Bears

Ranger Tabes was such a crazy awesome character, and she had great chemistry with the Bears. I especially loved how they were going to ditch her for being so overbearing in trying to solve their problem, but recanted when she gave a heartfelt speech about the importance of fighting for what's...
