No; the Monotones' voices have changed depending on who was able to do the recordings; so far, they've been voiced by (just to name a few) Jeff Moss, Chris Cerf, Richard Hunt, and Thad Mumford, and Jerry Nelson.
Well, David Rudman had previously played Herry and Fat Blue (Herry's was only a small cameo, but the voice and character was good; David was okay in the "Grouchland" movie as Fat Blue, but not the best voice). Last year Matt Vogel played Mumford in the halloween video, but only one scene with...
Just watched the clip, and here's another upside to the series: Bill Barretta's playing Elmo's father (his first regular SS character)! Also, for BB's aunt, they used the old Madam Chairbird puppet from "Follow That Bird".
Another nitpick: Oscar calls Elmo "pink face"! (The puppet was a bit "pinker" than the current one. I think there was even a die-cast car that had a picture of a pink Elmo.)
Also, the end of "Put Down the Duckie" was cut (after the song), not the beginning.
Both are different puppets; Rapunzel was green with blue eyelids, pink nose, and a pink dress. The Prince was a live-hand yellow AM with short brown hair, blue robe, gold crown, pointy green nose, sleepy pink eyelids, and an upper row of teeth.
Um, I was actually referring to Boober_Gorg. I don't have any non-Noggin TEC shows, but I do have plenty to trade for your SQ1 episodes. I'll let you know ASAP.
Yep, and it's one of the best specials out there; plenty of montages spanning from the past 30 years; no year (or decade) is emphasized more than the others. It's even got a few seconds of "behind the scenes" work (a few shots before they started taping).
