No, the pilot has been filmed and is in post-production right now. I expect they'll be screening it to the ABC folks any day now.
The sizzle reel on the other hand was filmed during those Youtube segments or even possibly earlier. It sounds interesting that they would show a sizzle reel to a...
I agree with @Drtooth's comments. For anyone out of the fandom, the title is a flop, and no one would have saw it. It needed something simple. The Muppets was not the title we deserved, but the one it needed.
The annoying thing is that they're calling the TV show the same exact thing, although...
What D'Snowth is saying is mostly true. That and the reason that primetime shows sometimes barely even have time for theme songs are pat of the reason why shows don't have 'em anymore. The only current comedy show that I could think of that has a theme song off the top of my head is Community...
Ugh, is that the title of the new show? As if the diffrentiation between The Muppets (2011) and The Muppets (franchise) wasn't bad enough. I'm sure the show will be great, but a simple title like that is just confusing. Maybe it's just temporary for the pilot to pitch to executives until they...
I'm afraid these things don't publicly get "announced". They just happen. Frozen was supposed to leave May 15th, now that it's not, it's going to extend far beyond into next year.
I really hate to say it, but turns out Frozen Sing-A-Long isn't leaving after May 15th like we previously thought. Muppet-Vision 3D in California is now a permanent thing of the past, and will likely never return at this point. It's a real bummer I never had the chance to see the California...
I don't know. It might be a character a little more mainstream? Maybe Constantine, but I doubt it. Bean Bunny could totally be possible, I think he's one of the obscure mainstream. Could be possible.
I really hope it's a Topo Sticky figure though. :P
A character we've never seen before in action figure form? I wonder which that could be? Walter qualifies I guess, but who else? Maybe Sweetums? Bobo the Bear? Uncle Deadly?
The Muppet Mindset began because of a few members frustrated at the inability to write their own articles for the site and the fact they stop posting any constant news updates. So Ryan decided to start his own blog in which fans can voice their opinions, which Muppet Central had not.
I have the feeling that they were inspired when they saw this gag and decided to continue production on the movie. Hey, do you mind doing an April Fool's gag about a new Muppet movie next year?
