It sucks that cancer took his life after surviving it back in 1993, but it is great to see he got to live to 89.
You know, it's funny that we're the fattest nation on Earth, yet going by the amount of medals we keep taking home in the Olympic games, at the same time we're also the fittest. :)
Now DW has a show that's a sequel to the 2002 cult hit Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, but unrelated enough to be enjoyed on its own. This one is done in cel-shaded CGI and stars a human girl who befriends the apparent descendant of the original Spirit from the movie. Neither Spirit nor the...
It's probably just where you live, wherever it may be. There hasn't really been any significant change in children's weight levels nationwide for at least a decade, according to studies like this. It may even be dropping among poor people...
So, Alien: Covenant was at the top this weekend, with Guardians at a close 2nd. It has yet to make as much as Prometheus, but as it has yet to release in China, maybe it will come close to that.

Also, I wonder just how the CG will be used? I'm confident JHC will use it smartly, like for particle effects or compositing. They did that well when they worked on the live-action Flintstones films and Where the Wild Things Are.
Holy crap, this looks amazing! If a sequel won't cut it with expanding on the world and characters of Thra, then a Netflix series is the next best thing, where they should have a ton of creative freedom compared to a TV network. Plus, you won't have to worry as much about a show getting swiftly...
So the sequel is now called Ralph Breaks the Internet, referencing a certain reality star with a planet-sized posterior that should be permanently sent into orbit.
Seems like it will be satirizing online and mobile games, just like I had predicted. :)...
And if filmgoers want more "originality" in American cinema, they need to vote with their dollars and go see those original films whenever they do crop up. After all, money talks.
It's not so much they're out of ideas. They only want ideas that would warrant the most money, or they think would warrant it, regardless of how stupid that idea is.
Low ratings brought on by fickle viewership, especially the kind that say how they want something different on TV yet ignore it whenever it does appear because it's so different.
Now this totally blows. :(

Maybe Son of Zorn will make the jump to Netflix or another streaming platform, though that seems unlikely. This show really did make something of itself and had a very big...
GotG is still strong, and 3rd place contender King Arthur can be considered a flop. D'Snowth probably won't like the fact that it was beaten by Snatched, a movie starring Amy Schumer! :D
