    Favourite panel discussion

I like the Florence Henderson discussion about whether Shakespeare was really Bacon the best. It's always a treat when Piggy gets rilled up to the point where she's this close to slaughtering everyone in sight over bad pig cracks.

Why didn't Jerry Nelson have a regular character on the Muppet Show?

Did Jerry do Thog, who I think would qualify as a semi-regular, throughout the entire run fo TMS, or just the first season?

    6 Snakes on a picnic

I recall they ate six types of food each that started with S.

    Where are they now?

For a time, I saw the University of Maryland had several early Muppets, including THE original Kermit. :)

    Frogtown Hollow's location

Now that I think about it, I'm now leaning toward somewhere along the Missouri-Illinois border, where Southern influences could still be found, but where it could still be a snowy December.

I met the original Fozzie Bear Today............

Interesting to see how long his neck really is

Cartoon all stars to the rescue.

I didn't remember the Muppet babies in it, but the special I do remember quite fondly. Probably I think Alf stole the show.

    Do you love Muppets Tonight?

    A. Those I did see were great.

    watercoloring animals

Who was the celebrity who talks to the children on the street about drawing animals with watercolors, which we see happen color by color on the screen as he describes each step (they drew, in sequence, a zebra, a lion, a fish, and a bear)?

The Superball and the Number 3

I wonder how long it took to set the whole thing up and tape it? It probably, I'm guessing, took a couple of takes to get it right, with the ball probably jumping the track a couple of times and missing some of the gaps it went over. Getting it to fall just right into the metal dipper cups was...

    Backers Credits/Electronic Chimes

That would seem the likely explanation. Did they show the programs on Noggin with or without commercials? And while we're on that topic, did the "horns and bells" end the same year the shows credits were revamped in the mid 90s?

    Mokey's eyelid mechanism

As she seems to be the only one with consistantly moveable eyes, it's natural to ask, how did they make her eyelids go up whenever she was shocked or appalled, and was it controlled by Kathy Mullen or another crew member.

    Fraggle Rock film in development

Not really at the moment. What I'm hoping, as I'm sure a couple of you are, is that they use some of the songs from the original run in this, my top choices being "Every Morning" and "Try a Little Longer for Your Friend).

    Imitations

If it's a traditionally Frank Oz character, I'll have it nailed to the T. A Henson character will proably be very close to perfect, just as long as I stay true to that classic Mississippian drawl. I can also do most of the Fraggles, Big Bird, Oscar, Thog, about a halfway decent Scooter, Baby...

Kermit and Piggy at the TV Land Awards

I wonder how they're going to stage it so Whitmire's covered up?

    our heroes living quarters' locations

I agree, it would be easier sticking with just the Muppet version.

    colored balls number segments

I definitely remember 2-4 of this. It went as followed: on a black background, several colored balls roll by on a thin blue track. An off-screen guy announces the number ofthem, and they roll offscreen, only to return with an abstract symbol on top of them. Once they reach the center of...

Looking for 1990 episode with Andrea Martin

You know who else would have worked? Dr. Tongue and Bruno (Woody Tobias Jr.). Oscar and Telly could have watched one of their films (say, "Dr. Tongue's 3-D House of Cards") as part of Sneak Peak Preview. I don't think the bad 3-D effects would have been that frightening for kids. Plus, we...

Looking for 1990 episode with Andrea Martin

Did any other SCTV characters show up to anyone's knowledge? (and granted, Bobby Bittman and the McKenzie brothers wouldn't exactly be positive examples for youngsters, eh?) :o
