The Muppets may be in trouble. :-/

^Very true, that is. I'm 21, and I could only afford "The Muppets" because it was a magical six dollar matinee. :P I'm in SO much college debt right now... I'm squirreled. As for "The Muppets" bombing. Well, clearly that didn't happen. It's grossed more than the previous three Muppet releases...

The Muppets may be in trouble. :-/

You're right, you're right. I don't want to be negative about it. I just want to Muppets to kick some arse. Gah, I hate Twilight. What a horrible mess of a series.

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

I just saw it again - small crowd, less than 15 - and I have to say, I loved it more the second time. My face hurts from smiling, my stomach hurts from laughing, and my eyes are still stinging a bit. I still have some minor irritants (I still don't think Kermit is 100% back to his old self, but...

If "The Muppets" is a success: What's next?

I hope they do "The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made!" I read the premise, and I laughed aloud at the thought. It's brilliant.

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

Well, if it was Brian Henson, he really is the last person who should be complaining about degrading the Muppets' integrity. "Stuffed and Unstrung" is hardly high brow humor.

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

One more thing: Would anyone be able to share the original script? I'd like to see how the film changed.

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

Also, I was concerned by the fact that there were only 20 people in the audience. That said, it was beautiful to hear those people sing along with "Rainbow Connection" and the Muppet Show theme. :)

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

Just got back from seeing The Muppets. My thoughts are a little jumbled at the moment, but I will attempt to write as coherently as possible. THE GOOD... -For the first time in quite a while, the Muppets have depth, and are given some pretty emotional stuff to work with. Kermit and Piggy's...

    The most tear-jerking Muppet moment...

Watching Kermit and Rowlf serenade Jim Henson at the D23 Expo. It was so powerful, knowing that though Mr. Henson is gone, his characters are still here.

Your Thoughts: Jason Segel and The Muppets on Saturday Night Live November 19

I love it. Kermit is really himself now. He's got Jim Henson's sarcasm and occasional biting wit, balanced perfectly with his kind, everyman persona. Also, I'm glad the Muppeteers came out from behind the benches at the end. They deserve recognition for their brilliant talent.

The New Generation of Muppet Performers

Here's one thing that irritates me a bit about the new generation of Muppet Performers. Well, not the performers themselves: they're great! But I feel like it's a disservice to Steve Whitmire (I know, he's old guard), Eric Jacobson, Bill Barretta, etc, etc, that in interviews, the muppets are...
