Poor Beau. I can't believe he actually went along with the suggestion of using Bobo as a weight!
Beauregard is my absolute favorite. I wish I could meet him and Dave Goelz!
Yeah, I don't remember Beauregard having any visible ears on the Muppet Show. I liked the Muppet Show's version of him better anyway. He looked more open and sweet, more wide-eyed and naive.
Thanks, jamie. I can see the Muppets.com site now, and I saw the clip with Bobo and Beauregard. Odd, but when I saw Beau from the side, it looked like he had grown ears shaped like Bobo's!
Sure, I've seen Beauregard take his hat off at least twice on the Muppet Show. Once was when he shyly asked Crystal Gayle if he could have her autograph.
Crystal Gayle: You sure can. [Takes the paper he's holding and signs it.] There you go.
[Beauregard puts his hat on and takes the paper...
I don't have any ideas for an entire outline, but I do have an idea that anyone is welcome to use:
Backstage is a huge piece of scenery with a picture of some place painted on it. Beauregard thinks it's time to move it onstage, but Kermit tells him not to touch it yet, because the paint's still...
I haven't seen much Dr. Who, but I loved when Tom Baker played him. I remember he would stop at the most serious moments to offer someone a jelly baby!
I had another dream about Beauregard. He had come over to help me move some stuff. The wisteria was in bloom, so I decided to show it to him. I love wisteria--all those hanging clusters of pale purple flowers. The fragrance is said to clear the head and stimulate the mind. Well, it sure does...
The swallowing thing confused me at first, too! To me, being swallowed was akin to being eaten. Though I kind of wish I could be eaten by a Muppet monster. I've never been eaten before. It might be an interesting experience.
Exactly! "You're heartbroken because your friend is in the hospital? So what? Here, take this pill and you'll be insanely happy and forget all about your friend."
