    What I think happened...

I meant that of all their output, they have a bulkier proportion of Christmas-themed output than say... the Smurfs, Barney, the Simpsons, Barbara Streisand... Try re-reading it again, and if you don't get it, I'll eat my 1978 Kermit puppet.

what DONT you like about the muppets...

Yeah. I agree with JJand Janice 100%. I mean, it's expressing feelings about the Muppets here w/ honest discussions. I just see it as inviting opinions. What don't I like about the Muppets? The lack of motion on behalf of their owners. About the Muppets themselves? I was never crazy about...

Muppet SNL Land of Gorch Skits coming to DVD

I seriously doubt any Diz-owned Muppets will be in that set.

    What I think happened...

Uh... I seriously doubt that they did more Christmas ablbums than regular albums, too. That's... not what I said. Um... feel free to re-read my post.

    Statler & Waldorf on movies.com

It was a short internet show that nobody ever saw (except the Muppet-obsessed). And now we have met the end of MHC's plan to do anything with the Muppets. Yesterday's Christmas CD release marks the very last release with a holiday tear.

Maybe because you were 2 years old when it was on. :o (don't kick me)

    What I think happened...

Yes. Yes they do. Still, I find that the Muppets have alomst had a dis-proportionate amout of Christmas-themed output compared to other franchises. I mean as far as both Sesame Street and the Muppets put together, how many Christmas LPs/movies/specials have they had? If one were to...

    What I think happened...

Yeah. Is Eric J doing the Frank Oz voices again? Man, they do a lot of Christmas stuff (no complaints)!

What was the last DVD you bought and why?

Are you an actor? Is your avatar your headshot? (I say actor instead of actress b/c imo the word 'actor' is non-gender-specific)

"America's Next Muppet" mini-series in development

I see what you're saying, but didn't Kermit lose it and do a lot of yelling backstage on the Muppet Show? Jim's movie Kermit and SS Kermit seemed to be calmer. He'd yell at Scooter, Fozzie or Gonzo at the drop of a dime! "Out! Out! Out!" "Will you get outta here!" etc.

Only a matter of time before that sinks too, methinks.

What was the last DVD you bought and why?

I think that quality of Muppet movies can easily be divided into 2 categories. 1) Jim Henson 2) post-Jim Henson It's like comparing the original Star Wars trilogy to the prequels. Nothing compares or ever will compare to the originals, just as nothing Muppet can possibly compare with anything...

    Statler & Waldorf on movies.com

BEAR... ... (sigh). Remember the Alamo! Today's Disney is pulling the proverbial wings off of the Muppets. This is not me bashing them. This is not me trolling or flaming. This is an undeniable fact. We all know that this 'hiatus' means buh-bye. Another project bites the dust.

Muppet Wiki is THE Muppets site! If it had streaming music & a forum, this site would be obsolete!
