currently all of 6 degrees outside.. and snowing.. again... where is this rumored spring? we were up in the 30's last week... but now it's gone cold again..

i learned to eat cheap in college.. heh.. lots of beans and rice, soup and pastas.. haven't "had" to do it in a long while.. but... given the current economy.. it's a good thing to know how to do...

funny to see this thread started in 2003... with my hubby deployed (which turned out to be great timing.. the company he worked for has started laying ppl off... but have to hire him back for a certain amount of time when he gets back regardless...) and several of the guys in his group don't...

if only we'd known.. a few years ago when the really bad kermit dolls were all over the dollar stores.. we could have bought them up, done this and made millions!

Ok, my husband is currently deployed and he was having a really bad day and he commented that he really wished that I could send him Kermit, but that he'd be afraid he'd get messed up.. He'd love to take pictures of Kermit (or any of the others) with the troops... so.. I'm wondering if anyone...

they may have no effect on current items, but they are issues that can be tweaked and modified for future items (if there are any...) it may be critical reviews, but that doesn't automatically mean we don't adore the product

well, i already have the first three seasons.. so the penny pincher in me hates to be forced to rebuy... but, if i'm going to have to, then i'm going to have to... darn it!

i know.. i'm *this* close to ordering them myself.. i hate to do it.. esp right now cuz money is tight, but.. i'm starting to fear it's the only way I'm going to get season 4... (and if i get lucky and season 4 eventually comes out properly later, I can always give these to my oldest step...
