Behind the "at"?
No, really...I got it from Deepdiscountdvd.com through Amazon.com, and it cost me just under $40 shipped. They had it at my local Best Buy, but wanted $50 for it. I decided not to make the trek across town to Fry's but they've usually got that kind of stuff too.
Something to remember is that BOOM! being an actual comic company and not solely a distributor, is directly in the middle of dealing with "convention season". Likely, their people that deal with shipping things are a little swamped getting stuff from one con to the next. I would bet that the...
Bought the latest MST3K boxed set...because, well...it's an MST3K boxed set.Other recent purchases include Ghostbusters and Burn Notice season 2, both on Blu-Ray. And I seem to have come into possession of a DVD for Night of the Living Dead: The Musical...I heard somebody use the word...
Here's a little more information:

Highlights include:
There will be a panel at SDCC held by both Henson and Archaia, where more details will be released.
Joe LeFavi, Director of Publishing and Development at The Jim Henson Company...
Well, it's official and then some:

I'm gonna see if I can talk to a couple people...maybe more news soon.
Diamond seems to be having issues remembering to pack orders of comics from companies that aren't Marvel and DC recently. Stuff that is done and reported to be printed either doesn't ship at all or only ships to part of the country. The last issue of Atomic Robo, a title in which the creators'...
I'm pretty sure that those that are worried it's going to be manga are worrying for nothing.
Arachia is the company making the noise, so you can bet they'd be the one doing the publishing. They have not, to date, done any type of manga. Their biggest comic so far has been Mouse Guard, by...
Don't forget to go get this today!
I'm off work in about 5 minutes, and then I'm off to the comic shop for my fix. Thankfully, it's been on my pull list for awhile, and they pull me all the covers...because they know I'll buy them. The main cover was done by the guy who does a book called...
Yeah, I really don't stop by enough...
But when I do, I bring presents:

Just thought I'd share...I'll keep an eye on this and let you know as I hear more.
**edit**
Yeah, okay...that title works too, I was probably a little vague.
Hey there Count! Long time! Sorry, though...no hierarchy post. Though I do vaguely remember it's existence. It's been a couple days since Palisades, after all. I need to get back over to CMX too...haven't been by as much as I'd like.
I just want to be able to log in...I'm having the same problem as Bats.
I was using my time away from the board to work on an entry for the contest, but I had a mishap with a Swedish Chef and some primer, so I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get it fixed before the deadline. I did...
I met his wife (and him) in Philly this past summer...she really is a BIG fan. I think one of the other folks that was working the Palisades booth that weekend (J.D., known as Blinky_fish on the Palisades board) got video of them talking about how much they dug the figures. Nice folks.
All the more reason for us to give our feedback NOW while there's still time. I'm one of the biggest bat-fans around, don't you think I wanna smack the crap out of some of those people at Mattel for some of their "style choices"? I mean, come on...have you SEEN the Superman that comes in that...
A style guide isn't just one picture. Basically, what happens is that a company like Sesame Workshop, who has had MANY different versions of many of their characters over the years, takes images of all those different versions, and uses them to decide how THEY want their characters to look in...
I really should hang around here more...but for now, I just have a couple things to interject:
1) Dr. Tooth - Knock it off. Nobody's "attacking" them...they are simply stating concerns with the product and how it is being produced. You're the one doing all the attacking. With any luck...
Well...that's bad. It's bad enough that I can't tell you how bad it is without tripping the language filter. That means that the reason we're getting "Page cannot be displayed" now is because they had to take the whole thing down for some reason.
