Hi there, I just wanted to introduce myself:
I've been a Muppet fan ever since I was a baby. My earliest memory, in fact, is watching my Muppet Babies VHS tape. Growing up, I knew who the Muppets and Jim Henson were, not because they were out making movies when I was little (I was born in 99)...
I remember they showed up once maybe in 2002 or something like that. From what I recall, Kermit, Piggy, Johnny, Sal, Pepe, and (for some reason), Mo Frackle were on a team. Does anyone else remember this or know if this episode is on YouTube??
I found a blog post made by Adventures by Disney on a stop at the Jim Henson Company. Check it out, it's really cool. The group even got to go inside Brian Henson's office!

Why did the JHC pull out of the last 2 original movies? I heard it was because Jim disapproved of violence but if that's so, then why did he work on the first one?
It's really a shame that we most likely won't see it again. About 2 years ago, Disney Jr. aired old shows (Jungle Cubs, Out of theBox, PB&J Otter, etc) during the late night block. This would've been an opportunity to air Bear again. Unfortunately, they don't run that format anymore...
