New Members: Please Post and Introduce Yourself

Hi there, I just wanted to introduce myself: I've been a Muppet fan ever since I was a baby. My earliest memory, in fact, is watching my Muppet Babies VHS tape. Growing up, I knew who the Muppets and Jim Henson were, not because they were out making movies when I was little (I was born in 99)...

    Linda, where are you??

I feel really dumb, but I just realized Linda's not on the Street anymore. What was her last season?

    Retired characters

Guy Smiley still appeared after Jim's death. Not as much as before, though.

    Muppets on Family Feud

I remember they showed up once maybe in 2002 or something like that. From what I recall, Kermit, Piggy, Johnny, Sal, Pepe, and (for some reason), Mo Frackle were on a team. Does anyone else remember this or know if this episode is on YouTube??

Was anyone ever at The Henson Studios?

I found a blog post made by Adventures by Disney on a stop at the Jim Henson Company. Check it out, it's really cool. The group even got to go inside Brian Henson's office! http://mousetalestravel.com/2014/01/abd-the-jim-henson-company/

The Creature Shop's work on the original TMNT movies was amazing

Why did the JHC pull out of the last 2 original movies? I heard it was because Jim disapproved of violence but if that's so, then why did he work on the first one?

"I Am Big Bird: The Caroll Spinney Story" documentary in development

I doubt it's gonna come to me in Charlotte, NC. Whenever a movie is released "in select theatres only", that never includes Charlotte for some reason.

    Muppet Man

As in a script, or some screenplay?

    Dinosaurs Meets Notorious B.I.G.

I noticed! I usually hate mashups like that but this one is really on point especially in the beginning.

    Dinosaurs Meets Notorious B.I.G.

I don't get why, but I really really love this!!

What non-Muppet Show Jim Henson characters could you see sing a version of "The Rainbow Connection"?

Didn't they make a Rainbow Connection remix for the MFS soundtrack?

Will Disney ever focus on Bear in the Big Blue House again?

It's really a shame that we most likely won't see it again. About 2 years ago, Disney Jr. aired old shows (Jungle Cubs, Out of theBox, PB&J Otter, etc) during the late night block. This would've been an opportunity to air Bear again. Unfortunately, they don't run that format anymore...

    Henson Rarities on Youtube

I love your channel! Keep it up! If it's possible, I'd like to see more TV Appearances, maybe from the early 2000s.
