I'm rereading the series right now. They're quite good! I'm super excited for the movie (Woody Harrelson as Haymitch? oh my goodness, so much win). I hope the movie manages to stay faithful to the series!
You should!!! Spencer's is having a sale right now on them (or at least they were two days ago), and so they only cost $24.99 (instead of their normal $35). I thought that was a pretty good deal.
Well they also had Kermit and Animal footie PJs, which are pretty similar to the Gonzo ones (they also have the faces on the feet). I saw a baseball cap with Miss Piggy on it, and the knit Kermit beanie that's been popping up everyone. And a whole slew of Sesame Street stuff. Otherwise I didn't...
Proof that the Gonzo Footie PJs exist and are awesome!
Whenever I'm at home, this is constantly on my body... mainly because the heat sucks at my house and I'm pretty consistently freezing. But also because they are awesome!
I was bored. Here are some pictures.
Here's my face:
It's pretty silly:
NOW HERE'S MY FACE WITH SOME AWESOMENESS ON IT:
Here's me with my b*tchy demon cat, Annabelle Leigh. She's not quite as fond of the camera as I am:
And finally, here are my Gonzo footie PJs that I just bought...
I normally only see movies once in theaters, but I really want to support this film. Plus I'm in college so it's my own decision whenever I choose to go (it just means living off of leftovers/cans of soup until I get my next paycheck).
Muppets brainwashing children? Yeah, cause, y’know, the fact that an Oil Baron is trying to ruin the Muppets is totally a statement about getting children to turn away from nonrenewable resources. It’s definitely got nothing to do with the fact that an Oil Baron is a stereotypical villain in a...
I'm gonna steal all of these from you, Julio, I swear. I need me a Walter. If I don't get a Walter for Xmas than I'm gonna buy myself one (which I've been saying for ages now, but seeing as Xmas is right around the corner I figured I'd stick it out to see if my dad/bro/friends/whatnot actually...
I'd be a small Fraggle, maybe around Wembley's size, and my fur would be a light pink. My hair would be a deep violet shade, and it'd be short and kept in two short braids. I think I'd wear a blue sweater.
I wish the watch had number on it though. I feel like the only point of wearing it would be to show the world I loved Muppets. The second someone would ask me for the time I'd be useless.
Going off this note, if I woke up, ran to my living room, and found Jason Segel sitting under my Christmas tree holding a Walter plushie and the second season of The Muppet Show, well, that'd be a very merry Christmas indeed.
I bet he'd be delighted. He'd probably even faint. I just saw the movie again, and I've learned that every time I see it for yet another time my love and appreciation for Walter grows.
I just saw the movie for the fourth time, and the friend I went with had the absolute best reaction of everyone I've gone with so far! I know she's seen Muppet movies in the past, but she's not a huge Muppet fanatic or anything. But she cracked up at all the right places and had this huge grin...
I'm going to it tonight and I manage to convince a friend to come along too! My roommate works at the movie theater we're going to and usually he lets me into films for free, but for this one I'm going to tell him no. I want every cent to count for The Muppets. :)
