    Favorite Non-Henson Puppets?

I really love Czech marionettes. Beautiful craftsman ship. Most television puppets are just Muppet knock-offs. I appreciate originality, which is why the Muppets were so appealing.

The Muppets to appear on "Good Luck Charlie" April 28, 2013

I don't get why people are saying this is for a younger audience. The Muppets are about bridging the gap between children and adults. They're not supposed to be dumbed down for a stupid tween show.

Jim Henson Creature Shop TV Show Coming to Scyfy

It sounds... like it won't last. :P Still, I hope it brings in some revenue for JHC, so they can put out some new stuff!

    Unofficial Picture Thread!

    Yes! They're obnoxiously cute.

    Unofficial Picture Thread!

Obligatory kitten photo (the white one is "Moose," the black one is "Hyperbole") Eh, and me, most recently.

Seriously, Sesame Workshop? Where are your lawyers?

On one hand, I would be really disgruntled and angry if I spent all day in a suit, not being paid much, in the NYC heat. Still, people, have standards!

Seriously, Sesame Workshop? Where are your lawyers?

I once witnessed a man in an Elmo costume fighting with another mascot. "YOU WANT SOME OF DIS? WELCOME TO ELMO'S WORLD OF PAIN." It was the best thing ever, but I also felt bad for the little kids watching.

New Muppet movie in development for potential 2013 release

Hey, at least he's higher profile than most of the Disney starlet stuff they've done on the Disney Channel!

    Remembering Jane Henson (1934-2013)

    Amen to that. ;)

Heather Henson's "Celebration of My Mom" April 7 in Providence, Rhode Island

I would love a MOMA tribute as well. Rhode Island is a bus-ride away from NYC, but I can't make plans on the drop of a hat due to work obligations. Still, hope it was a great show (I'm sure it was!)

New Muppet movie in development for potential 2013 release

I liked what the writers did with it. I don't like Disney's decision to force a starlet with dubious talent down people's throat, especially when the Muppets are traditionally of a higher caliber.

Petition for Skeeter in The Muppets... Again!

Oh, no, I realize you didn't mean anything sexist by it! I was just saying that the term in general is usually used as a poor excuse for characterization.

Petition for Skeeter in The Muppets... Again!

I've always disliked the moniker of "Strong female character." What does that imply about the rest of the female population? Are they all weak, meek, and needy? I don't know. I respectfully disagree. Skeeter doesn't have much of a function outside of Muppet Babies.

    Remembering Jane Henson (1934-2013)

So I guess there's going to be an open memorial mass on the 9th in NYC. I have work in Chelsea that day, so I probably won't be able to attend. And even so, I don't know if it's appropriate to attend, despite it being "open to the public." I met Jane a few times, but I didn't "know" her, and I...

New Muppet movie in development for potential 2013 release

So, Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais, Usher, Christoph Waltz, and Tom Hiddleston. Already, the cameo list is much more impressive than SELENA GOMEZ. I'm quite happy about this.

Petition for Skeeter in The Muppets... Again!

Guys... Skeeter wasn't that interesting of a character. She was only thrown in there to add another girl. I don't know why people are so fascinated by her.

    Film Critic Roger Ebert Dies

I loved Ebert. Sad to see him go.

    Remembering Jane Henson (1934-2013)

I do think Mrs. Henson lived a full, productive, wonderful life. If you've ever met her, or listened to her talk, you'd know she didn't have much fear in her, just an innate curiosity about all aspects of life. She took Mr. Henson's death and made it into something beautiful: a legacy, a support...

    Remembering Jane Henson (1934-2013)

They'd better make mention of her and Jerry Nelson in the credits of The Muppets...Again, by thunder!

    Remembering Jane Henson (1934-2013)

This, one hundred times over! Heather Henson had to leave her Facebook account because of the bombardment of well-wishers. Let them have peace.
