    I remembered that i had the David Pannabecker video, and i had a look at it and duplicated that body-pattern. It taught me a thing or two and i think i got the hang of it. The body i made was reinforced with wire at the neck and sleeve holes.

    You can do a 2 piece foam-head for the glorified sock puppet pattern. Just use half inch sheet foam, and use the same pattern as for the fleece. Just slightly smaller. PS. i've been learning for 7-8 years and i am still learning. I haven't done a carved head yet. Just take it step by step...

    Revealing Stitching

    In case you don't know the ladder stitch, here is some info: http://www.projectpuppet.com/blog/2008/02/the-ladder-stitch.html Perhaps you've seen pictures and videos where they sew the puppets face from the outside, instead of inside out, they are using the ladder stitch.
