I've never actually seen that clip before...I wonder why I don't remember it? The 90's were prime Sesame years in my house!

Yeah, I guess it's all about childhood memories...I think I probably saw "Christmas Toy" first, but I always liked "Emmet" better, so that's the one I want to see as close to the original as possible.

I can live without Kermit in this one better than I can "Emmet Otter." I might have to go ahead and buy this!

I liked Frazzle, and I liked whenever there was a group of Anything Muppets. It was fun looking for ones I recognized from other sketches!

I enjoy Pepe, but I'm pretty neutral on the other ones. I think I prefer the older Muppets overall.

I wasn't scared of any Muppets when I was younger, but my brother was scared of Jack in "The Muppet Movie." Was that Sweetums? Anyway, he'd leave the room whenever Jack was on; I'm not sure when (if? :insatiable:) he stopped being scared. As an adult, I think those human Muppets on the train...

The "Granada" and "Birthday Cake" Waiter Grover sketches. I find them a lot funnier now than I did years ago, though. :super:

I heard that the Kermit the Frog stuff was going to be edited out, but I'm not sure. Speaking of, I'd really like to get a copy of the DVD that DOES have Kermit. Could some post an Amazon link to the edition that does? There seems to be a few out there, and I want to make sure I'm getting...

I used to love the segments where he'd review movies, and they'd all get a "phooey." :grouchy:

I think I'd consider Clifford classic, but if there were some sort of transitional "middle" category, I'd put him there instead.

I didn't mean that it wouldn't have worked...I just liked to see Sesame Street Muppets in their place and Muppet Show Muppets in theirs. That's the only reason why I wouldn't have enjoyed it as a kid.;)

Oh, I definitely think this one has "Big Bird in China" beat by a mile. I've always thought so. I also agree that at least one of the Sesame Street adults should have been with him on the trip. How realistic is it really for a 6 year old and a dog to be running around a foreign country with...

As an adult, I think that could have worked, but I don't think I would have been that thrilled as a kid. To me, Muppet Show Muppets were different than Sesame Street Muppets. Kermit was the only one who could really cross over in my mind. :)

I saw him perform at a local mall when I was really little. I even got on the news as I was watching him. :) I don't think I met him, but I did get an autographed picture. I wonder whatever happened to that...
