Sesame Street Live: Can't Stop Singing

I was wondering the same things. From the show blurb, you can tell that Elmo, Abby, Murray, Grover, Baby Bear, Bert, Ernie, Cookie and possibly Rosita are featured. That's 9 characters, which leaves 1 or 2 main characters, plus 3 understudy characters. Of course, there will be the usual split...

Sesame Street Live: Can't Stop Singing

Here's the synopsis of the show (which is basically the same as Season 41's "Music Magic"): When Elmo gets his furry fingers on Abby Cadabby's magic wand, there's something in the air - and Sesame Street becomes a nonstop, all-singing, all-dancing musical montage! Grover and Baby Bear sing...

Sesame Street Live: Can't Stop Singing

After 3 seasons of remounting old shows, VEE Corp is FINALLY producing a new one for the 2012-2013 season. It's tentatively called "Can't Stop Singing". I think it's interesting that this show is about Singing, when the last one was about... Music... we'll see. So excited it's a new show...

The new and improved??? ELMO MAKES MUSIC

Here's a vid of most of the finale from the 2nd remount of Elmo Makes Music. It has been scaled down a LOT since it's original production in 01 and first remount in 06. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QU1qUQCp-qI Sidenote- I think the medium understudy is in for Ernie during this performance...

    Elmo Makes Music - Again...

UPDATE! The video screen from EMM is completely gone! The set is entirely new. It's been scaled down a LOT. So now there's basically 3 "Theater" tours. Abby has replaced Zoe and Zoe is now the small understudy character...

    Elmo Makes Music - Again...

Thanks Dr. Tooth. I realize that LPS and SB would have to be re written and re recorded, but the sets are in the warehouse. ECB and LBF, however, already feature Elmo as the star. You guys, the ticket sales have nothing to do with repeating shows, seeing as how the target audience grows out of...

    Elmo Makes Music - Again...

Hahaha! I Knew you would post something like this. I agree. They should have remounted another show. LBF and ECB are much better shows. But I do think EMM is a very good show too. Too bad their best show's EVER (Let's Play School and Sleeping Birdie) will probably never be repeated :-(

    Oscar walk-around?

Yes! It's full body. At the end of that show everyone convinced Oscar to finally get out of his can and dance. So he and Grundgy did "The Everything in the Wrong Place Tango" :)

    Elmo's Healthy Heroes

Actually, DrTooth, SSL and DOI both tour almost year round. From late Aug/early Sept to May or June. And both have a short summer break. Neither show tours primarily in the Winter or Spring season. So the time they tour has virtually nothing to do with each tour's success, seeing as how they...

    Elmo's Healthy Heroes

Dr Tooth is Right. It's the RECESSION! Attendance for ALL live shows, be it SSL, DOI, Dora, etc... have been Much less than they were in the early 2000's and late 90s. In this economy the cost to put on these elaborate stage shows has skyrocketed, and therefore the ticket prices Have to go up...
