BTW:
I'd love to see some more of those "Number Segments"
1) Some more of the "Number Song" segments (aka The Baker)
2) Some more of the "Racer/Spies" segments
3) Some more "Number Painter" (Paul Benedict) segments.
How about the little segments with Fonzie & Richie of Happy Days? I remember one of them was where Fonzie was brushing his teeth in the Men's room at Arnolds.
I'd like to see the one where Bert and Ernie are in the Movie Theater and Ernie is responding to different parts of the movie with different emotions. It's the one with Organ music and Guy Smiley is behind Ernie and Bert. Though it's not the voice of Jim Henson doing Guy Smiley...it sounds...
I used to be scared of that sketch as well. I'm fine when they are putting it together....but when the train comes I used to close my eyes.
Love to see it again though.
Not specifically on Sesame Street....but Big Bird, Grover, and Oscar make appearances on The Electric Company ---- all on this set.
Big Bird is in a Fargo North Sketch trying to decode a message about him trying to find home.
Grover is in Vi's Dinner upset because he can't remember where he...
Anyone else check out that hilarious sketch with the hippie guy and the "straight" lecuturer talking about shapes??? Absolutely priceless!! Look out big that nose is on the lecturer.
Cool...today they have the "Subway" song on there!!! Haven't seen that in years.
Do they take requests? Love to see the number painter aka Mad Painter (Paul Benedict). Wonder if they also have the Dragnet Parody sketch....
RIP Rosewood.
BTW, I would think that since they released "TEC" out on DVD (which I heard there will be more of them coming soon!!)....you would think it wouldn't be too much more of a struggle to release classic SS sketches/episodes on DVD.
Anyone remember the Dragnet parody where Joe Friday (muppet) is looking for suspect "W". When he finds him the "W" turns around and claims he is a "M".
Anyone remember the Dragnet parody on SS? The muppet that plays Joe Friday was looking for a W. When they found the W, the W claims to be a M instead??
Anyone know where I can find a copy of that skit?
