    Boiling fur help.

    For large scaled furs- boil four pots of water and carefully pour into a tub. BE CAREFUL! Then simply place the fur into the tub and let sit- make certain the whole fur is submersed. Like the previous post make certain you do test strips. If you do the washing the fur in hot water option make...

    Boil 2-3" fur. Be certain to do a test piece. The boiling of fur will provide you the look you need.

    I completed him- gave him away. In my last video I explain why that puppet doesn't show up...when I tried to transfer all my footage from my old computer to my new computer it seemed like it transferred fine. When I went to edit the material I found some of the footage had not transferred...

    Working with Fur

    I made a foam head and pinned the fabric to it. Basically practice is the key to the whole process. Just to let you know once the fabric is pinned it doesn't come off of the puppet when sewing.

    Working with Fur

    Fur Do you mean like the critter I built here? http://puppeteersunite.com/?p=1856 I basically cut to fit the fur and antron, and pin them down. I spot spray glue some sections depending on the section. I then stitch the pieces together using a Henson Stitch (Ladder Stitch).
