    Dealing with depression and anxiety

I know the feeling. Pretty much for a whole week a couple weeks ago, I was sad, angry and depressed that I still don't have a job. When that happens, I always feel like I let my whole family down, pretty much everyone in my family has a job but me! All the hard work I've done in college and...

The Muppets Episode 4 - Pig Out

I loved it! Beaker imitating Miss Piggy and Swedish Chef mocking Kermit was the best! I really thought Miss Piggy would completely crash the party, but in the end, everyone paid the price! The whole karaoke scene was fantastic, I was smiling the whole time! Now, the big question, what happened...

The Muppets Episode 3 - Bear Left Then Bear Write

I agree, the drug references are getting old. Gonzo showing the surprise clip and Kermit not wanting to, that was a great scene, I think that was one of the craziest things Gonzo has done. I think if Miss Piggy found out he put it on the show, he would've been karate chopped into a pulp! By the...

How's the weather where you are?

Really, really rainy because we're getting the outer bands of Hurricane Joaquin. There's even flash flooding warnings around where I live, even the first shelter I volunteered at got flooded out and they're moving the animals to safety. Right now, there's no flooding in my neighborhood, but...

The Muppets Episode 2 - Hostile Makeover

I loved it! I think Kermit got a little bit jealous of Josh Groban there! I was so excited that Lips spoke! Bobo and the Newsman competing to sell Girl Scout cookies, priceless! Fozzie's bit with Jay Leno, that was good although I'm not a big Leno fan. I totally got the Electric Mayhem getting...

TV Alert: The Muppets on Dancing with the Stars Monday September 28, 2015

I was fully expecting a big opening number, but although the Muppets were there, no musical number featuring them! That was pretty disappointing to me. I think we were all under the impression that there would be a huge opening number featuring the Muppets, but we got nothing! What happened...

The Muppets Episode 1 - Pig Girls Don't Cry (Pilot)

I'm happy that Lisa Henson approves of the show. I'm glad she gave her two cents on the show and also providing new information that we may have never heard of before.

The Muppets Episode 1 - Pig Girls Don't Cry (Pilot)

I liked it a lot! I grinned quite a bit at some of the jokes like Zoot's AA joke and an indirect sex joke from Kermit, yeah I also shook my head on that part. I laughed at Rizzo and Pepe dancing. I think they should have made more time for Imagine Dragons and Tom Bergeron, I would have loved it...

I can't believe my musical theatre group is doing the Muppets

Sweet! I wish my chorus, or at least my high school show choir, did something muppet related when I was a member! You'll do great!

Sesame Street will continue to air on re-branded Sprout Channel

I wish Sesame Street would stay because you get to see older episodes in the network, but now that won't happen anymore. Sesame Street is really falling apart at the seams. (So to speak...)

TV Alert: "In Their Own Words" Jim Henson Special on PBS Tuesday September 15, 2015

I liked the special very much, but I do think they should've mentioned Steve being a replacement for Kermit's voice and like someone said earlier, no mention of Jerry Nelson or Richard. No mention of the Jim Henson Hour either, I think they should've talked about it because it was near the end...

    Joey Mazzarino leaving Sesame Street

I can only speculate why Joey left. I'm betting it has something to do with the HBO deal. Maybe he didn't like where the show was going or maybe he found a better job opportunity. Somehow, I feel that the show is starting to fall apart. Sonia left, the HBO deal and now Joey is leaving. I wish...

    In Memorium: Chase Beecher

I didn't know him all that well, either. From what I've seen over Facebook and the Muppet Mindset, he sounded like a really fun guy to be around. It's a shame that the Muppet fan community lost a really great guy.

I am loving these! The ending was unexpected, but this was great.

    Favorite little moments and details

In "A Tune for Two", when Tosh comes in when Wembley asks Boober to be his partner in the Duet-a-thon, Boober is clearly happy that she's there and seems to be admiring her. And when she leaves, Boober makes a sound like "Ba-Boom, Ba-Boom" indicating that he could feel his heart pitter-pattering...

    Muppet Film and TV References

I was watching a Nickelodeon Guts episode in YouTube and one of the kids' nickname was "Gonzo" probably because his last name was Gonzales.

Sesame Street shrinks to 30 minutes, new shows will premiere on HBO and PBS nine months later

HBO, really? I mean, not all families with kids have HBO, probably for a good reason. I'm not sure how I feel about PBS dropping the hour long version of the show in favor of the half-hour shows. I'm nervous about how this move will effect the show's ratings and the show in general.

Kermit and Miss Piggy Officially Split!

Right now, I'm taking this with a grain of salt, they've been on-again, off-again for years. (Rachel and Ross, anyone?) if the news translates to the new show, we'll see where this goes. Although, I really wish that the tabloids would leave the Muppet universe alone for once.

Video: Jungle Boogie with the Electric Mayhem

I was smiling the whole time, I laughed when Sam started dancing to the music and wearing different outfits all throughout. I do think that Jim would've been on the floor laughing about it, Frank, too and the other performers as well. Did not expect the ending though. For Sam, it was all a bad...
