Here's a last minute puppet I'm working on. Rizzo the Rat

I made Gonzo from a block of foam. I carved the foam until I made the head shape. For the nose color I made a blend of RIT dyers. One of a pale purple and blue one. Basically Gonzo is made out of foam completely and then I hot glued his fur later. Here are some pics of the building process.

Here's my finished Fozzie Bear. I changed his fur to the new golden type look he has now. This was a mighty challenge since I bought the fur online and the color was more yellowish than expected, so I had to color-dye the fur several times.

I was wondering about the same thing. Wasn't the prize supposed to be $3,000?

Well, I had no plans on selling them since making them plus the human-time work involved makes them a little pricey but I've been asked for custom replicas a lot these days
