Speculation: Sesame Street 45th Anniversary Possibilities

Seriously! Unless they really are trying to surprise us with something special, we probably would have known by now what kind of 45th anniversary memorabilia we'd be getting in addition to that one lousy book! Yeah, it would be cool if Hasbro could release figurines of some older characters...

    Ugliest International Sesame Street Muppets

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but recently I just visited the Vila Sesamo page on Muppet Wiki, and I found some more pictures of those horrid characters (well, 1 of Gugu and several of Garibaldo- for now I'll include just 1): I mean...YIKES!!!! Seriously, Vila Sesamo (1972-1977)...

New half-hour version of Sesame Street to debut on PBS Kids this fall

Hmmm...you know, considering that this show is intended to be for older kids, I almost think it would be appropriate to include classic segments!

Warner Home Video now distributing Sesame Workshop DVDs

Oh my god, yes...yes, yes, YES! That would be a DVD that I would not hesitate to buy! Especially if it were to include the segment of Kermit and Grover building a snowman, I would definitely purchase a copy of this particular DVD!

Your Thoughts: "Muppets Most Wanted" Theatrical Film

I totally see what you're saying. For example, during "I'll Get You What You Want (Cockatoo in Malibu)", you'd think that Miss Piggy would be able to tell the difference between Kermit's regular singing voice and the one Constantine used!

Warner Home Video now distributing Sesame Workshop DVDs

Those are all some great choices for bonus clips. To answer some of your questions, yes "Working on my Attitude" and "All Together Now" were included on the soundtrack, and here's the clip with Waylon Jennings: (EKA: Episode 3022)

Warner Home Video now distributing Sesame Workshop DVDs

Would they have anything to do with the movie's plot or just be randomly chosen clips?

Warner Home Video now distributing Sesame Workshop DVDs

On one hand, you make a pretty good point, but then again, this DVD IS part of Warner Bros.' "and Friends" market!

    Joan Ganz Cooney Tribute

This was just lovely! To think they all thought SS was going to last a few seasons at most! Now, if only we could get some news on the 45th anniversary...oh wait a minute, that's another story!

    A Muppet Central Book club?

Tough Pigs used to have a book club (all the older entries are still there), so I don't see why this fan site can't have one!

    Trading Sesame Street Episodes

http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Episode_0900 That's a very, very, very rare episode, and it's pretty unlikely that anyone has it. Sorry to tell you this.
