Who performed Miss Piggy in the MFS Trailer?

You heard wrong. MFS was before Jacobson started doing Piggy. You can definately hear that in the trailer and bloopers it's not Jacobson. Have to go back and check the credits but i don't even think EJ was even involved with MFS.

Cloud Forest and Animal Show Coming to DVD!

Before anyone gets too excited or confused by that heading, Jim Henson Hour is NOT coming to dvd. One of the specials that made up the second half hour (Song of the Cloud Forest is). Many of those second half hours (which weren't Storyteller episodes) were produced as their own stand-alone...

Who performed Miss Piggy in the MFS Trailer?

You can also hear the on-set before-looping puppeteers in the blooper reel on the dvd. Plus Brian performing Gonzo in the trailer on the line "The mothership is calling me home!"

    Hal Miller, the middle Gordon

And played a bad guy on a soap after he was cast as Gordon which confused a lot of kids who happened to walk into the room as their mothers were watching! That's always awkward seeing a childrens' entertainment figure playing dark - even if it's years afterwards...i'm sure each actor wants to...

    Season 40 Hidden Gems

A suggestion if you're doing a video compilation of gems...i'd also include the Jerry Muppet from the Families Stand Together special - not a SST episode proper, but i'd still consider that in the season 40 Hidden Gem family.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street on "Cake Boss"

The Elmo kind of reminded me of when Kevin pulls back on his eyes to make him look like he's rolling them. And of course what with the baker being so insistent on its gargantuan size, i wonder how long it took to go through the leftovers...

Behind the Scenes- Joe Pesci on SST

Oh yes - their end-of-season gag reels are legendary ... and carefully guarded as there would be trouble with the overreactive parent crowd if they got leaked out.

    Things That Disappointed You

...and then there's the double-whammy of finding out the Honkers only have one hand! Finding out the characters couldn't actually see you through the screen. Learning that they can't really make letters and numbers appear in thin air like magic. Seeing Herry with no legs in one of the...

    Lips is Back!

I wouldn't quite go that far. His silence has been a defining element of his character - in his entire history he's only spoken (or sung) twice. Like Zoot, he seems to be the type that expresses himself better with music than dialogue. Lobbying for Lips to have lines would be like demanding...

Your Thoughts: The Muppets on NBC's Christmas in Rockefeller Center

Well keep in mind this is a special unusual circumstance - while Muppet fans knew the Muppets would be appearing ahead of time and we saw them on our screens during the regular special, there was this small "pre-show" that only aired in a few select places...and it doesn't seem like any fans who...

What if it happened like this...

Interesting that you asked about Tickle Me Elmo vs Tickle Me Grover. I remember when i first heard of Tickle Me Elmo back in the day (when it first came out and before becoming a craze) that it seemed kind of weird that they did the "Tickle Me" idea with Elmo since Grover always seemed to be...

Just testing things here - everyone ignore. I seem to have a problem with random posts disappearing lately. I certainly hope it's just a matter of a random system glitch and not something more sinister.

Brian Henson comments indepth on the various company sales

411mania has an interview with Brian Henson. The main focus is on Farscape and the Complete Series dvds but there's a lot of other great stuff covered including the most indepth comments he's made regarding the various company hopping the Muppets went through last decade. The entire...

The... -wait fer it-... "What made you laugh today?" Thread

Saw a restaurant had an old banner still hanging outside advertising its "Summer Special". Yeah, in Arizona it gets easy to lose track of what season it is!

Your Thoughts: The Muppets on NBC's Christmas in Rockefeller Center

Not there yet, but we're on the freeway headed to our destination! I know that this is something really big that a lot of Muppet fans really want to see so just wanted to let everyone know that i've been on top of this (tried to find my previous post mentioning this but it looks like those...

    Muppet Peter Pan

Oh, i love that the artists have their own styles and interpret the Muppets differently (i'm probably one of the few that would love to see Langridge go even wilder) - but the style guides are more refernence materials for artists - photos of all the Muppets, what they look like below the waist...

    Muppet Peter Pan

Wow - so you're left on your own for references? No one from Muppet Studios provided the folks at Boom! with any of the character style guides?
