Henson Rarities just uploaded this goodie on YouTube yesterday. Someone originally posted it back in 2006, but only the 0:30-7:33 footage. Here it is in its entirety.
You MUST watch this tribute if you can! It's especially heartwarming at 5:55-5:58; there are some other heartwarming moments...
Some observations on this week's episode...for one thing, I'm thankful that they used "A Furchester Never Gives Up" for the first time in quite a while- as catchy and clever as it is, I'm actually starting to get a little tired of hearing the "Catastrophe" song. At 1:30-1:42, it's good to see...
Thread bump once again.
@minor muppetz as we discussed last year, it's quite possible that later printings of the videos had longer promos. I just found a closing to "Children's Songs and Stories" that got uploaded to YouTube on New Years Eve, and sure enough 10 videos are highlighted here...
Wow...the voice Eric used for Oscar here sounds a LOT better than I had imagined! If Caroll leaves anytime soon, I sure hope Eric becomes the new Oscar!
Yeah, I mean, I was pretty surprised when I learned that Matt Vogel has been the new performer for Sweetums since 2009!
Wow, I can't believe I didn't see this thread before! This really is a nice article there. You know...it's amazing to see how close Bob was with Will Lee. In the Sesame Street Unpaved documentary, Bob noted how hard it was to go near the store for a year after Will died, and who can blame...
I just re-watched the special today. In regards to the music cue that was played every time the Cookie Thief was mentioned...it happened 11 times! (Yes, I actually kept track of how many times the music cue was played!)
HOLY SNAP! I wonder how long it took for Caroll to learn enough German to participate in this episode! Either way, I'm beyond astounded and impressed that he could pull this off!
I'm not against your thoughts, but I just wanna say upfront that just because Ryan is performing Elmo doesn't mean he's going to perform ALL of Kevin's former characters. Steve and Bill (Barretta) didn't get all of Jim's characters (Waldorf), Eric didn't get get all of Frank's characters...
ANOTHER SEASON 45 EPISODE I'VE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO JUST AIRED TODAY AND I MISSED IT??
Oh well...at least it will be on the PBS Kids website soon...
@JazzyAlphabet both of those specials have been on YouTube for quite sometime. Why couldn't you go look them up and see for yourself instead of asking about it here?
Here's what made me roll my eyes today: I'm sitting at my desk at home, typing up an essay for my English class, when my phone rings. I pick it up, and it turns out to be my older sister's boyfriend. He invites me to "come and get some pizza and a drink" with him sometime this week or so. I...
I must say that was one spectacular special! Well-written plot, catchy music, enjoyable one liners...it almost felt like a half hour SS version of MMW with a hint of Don't Eat the Pictures! Rachel Dratch's role as the museum guard was semi-reminiscent to Tina Fey's role as Nadya...but that's...
