I'm surprised at how soon the release date is for this beauty. Despite the not so stupendous animation and akward voices that were used in this version of the show, I will definately want to add this to my Henson collection. "The Rock Goes On". :smirk::excited::coy:
Never mind. I just looked over a copy in my local Barnes & Noble and it is a lot better than I could have ever anticipated. Now I know what to expect if I can get this as a Christmas gift.
What I find interesting in the review are the two photos from the "Bert and Ernie Sing-Along" and The Count Counts" albums. Where they actually taped into episodes first and then put into album format? I wonder. But like I said, the anticipation is just mind-boggling. I hope I can find in my...

Muppet Wiki just posted that the date for the books release was on Oct. 22. Hopefully people should be recieving it very, very soon. By the way, will there be a review posted on here about it? (I know I've already asked that but the anticipation is just so much for me)
Let's not forget that Sesame Workshop is trying to make their website mainly for kids as well as adults. Personally I think they all did an outstanding job on the website, and I don't just mean the 40th anniversary page. :super:
I greatly feel that when the movie comes out in Novemeber, people are going to start to panic like it's Y2K all of a sudden and start preparing for the worst to come. But come on, is it seriouswly going to happen? Most likely, no.
