Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5002 - The Great Sesame Street Cake Off

I like Gonger's design; reminds me of an old school '70s puppet.

Sesame Street "Lost and Found" at the Museum of the Moving Image with Rosemarie Truglio and Norman Stiles November 24, 2019

Well a lot of the people I named know what they are getting themselves into. The witch was probably so obnoxious and rude that it was off-putting to kids... now, 847 has reached a mythical status that it can't possibly justify, though I would still love to see it. Based on the recent findings...

Sesame Street "Lost and Found" at the Museum of the Moving Image with Rosemarie Truglio and Norman Stiles November 24, 2019

Gav and I think Shane? From the lost media community, blameitonjorge (a famous YouTuber) and forum users nitratenerd (a key player who found the Clock Man Short) and YoshiKiller.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Snowth nailed it: the key word is gray. Everything is so gray that I'll be surprised if it goes through. The internet is such a wild west that I don't even see why YT is being singled out: porn is just as accessible to a child as anything nowadays.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Is this just an effort to keep kids away from YT in general? This is the exact reason why this is so bizarre and I hope it doesn't pass.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

So now I realize that Jerry and Snowth were talking about two different things... The COPPA thing is so farfetched and incomprehensible that I'd be surprised if it passes; it'd be like going backwards in time. I'm trying to understand it: what I'm gathering is YouTube was data mining what...

    Vintage Sesame Street puppets

Yeah, I looked up some demos on YouTube and Ernie looks like he has decent flexibility while Bert looks impossible. I wonder if Count suffered the same fate. Came across some of these while eBay searching: (The finished Guy Smiley doesn't look that ridiculous)... You could build a solid...

    Vintage Sesame Street puppets

The one on the right looks like the official puppet at first glance... super underrated. How are the mouths on these? Operable?

Yeah, but it's been like this for a while now.

Oh, I thought they changed it again... Totally unnecessary change, but just like anything else you get used to it.

Sesame Street Special "Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration"

That's what he must've saved his voice for in the special.

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

I thought the head-banging myth was true (it probably was to some degree), but it does indeed seem like Richard's passing was more of a factor.

Sesame Street Special "Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration"

Maybe it's because they're on the obscure side, but I didn't notice anything about Don or Sherlock worth nitpicking over. Mumford on the other hand was abominable.

Your Thoughts: Disney+ streaming service officially launches

They literally haven't added The Muppet Show even though they can? Are they still ******* with the desperate season 4/5 fans?

    Vintage Sesame Street puppets

These puppets are the greatest thing ever. I'm surprised they released such close replicas of the puppets as affordable merchandise considering the era. It's sad they couldn't get the monsters right (save Grover) given you think they would be easier to make. The Cookie puppet looks good if he...

Video: The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Tactics Coming to Nintendo Switch February 4, 2020

I miss when they made Muppet video games: the late-'90s/early-2000s was hot with the likes of Muppet RaceMania and Monster Adventure; a lot of franchises like them and the Looney Tunes had a resurgence with games and stuff in that era but they're entirely dormant now.

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

You know, I recently read the Frank Oz interview where he praised Don Music as one of his favorite characters but then refused to talk about Harvey because he's a member of the "Dead Muppets Society"... a bit of a contradiction there, bud.

It's too bad Lefty never tried to sell anything to Harvey... Lefty probably would've ended up killing himself.
