i found a bootleg dvd of it at goodwill a few years back actually, but it mysteriously stopped being playable on my dvd drive.

i don't think there's ever been an official uncut release due to rights, but if i'm not mistaken you can find the full thing on youtube in decent quality.

i would say it's due to a lot of the characters (elmo, cookie, etc.) having fur, which i know is a LOT harder to deal with when you're doing green/bluescreen, but i feel like even non-furry characters are guilty of looking pretty cheap on those segments?

god, this season has been so dull thus far. although this isn't exactly new for SST in the HBO era, i literally cannot remember a thing that happened in these first three episodes. boring, almost nonexistent plots, bland character interactions, terrible green screen for the Elmo's World bits...

They are taking a break, lol. The sequel trilogy is done, and although there are plans for Episodes 10-12 (unfortunately), I think it'll be a few years AT LEAST until we get more details on them. As of now, The Mandalorian is the only live action SW stuff releasing.
