Showing green Grover in his proper first appearance? Sure!

Orange Oscar in his proper first appearance? Definitely!

Snuffy with those horrible yellow eyes? No problem!

A chance to show Elmo with Jerry Nelson performing him? Nope! We can’t expose that sh*t to these poor babies constantly having iPads shoved in their faces!

Sorry not sorry: I hate how absolutely annoying the workshop can be when it comes to sugar-coating early Elmo like this:

My sentiments, exactly! They'll happily show all the other prototype Muppets, but Pre-Kevin Clash Elmo appears to be off-limits. Even in the official press releases, they only acknowledge Elmo as having been around since 1984, as if they prior four years don't count.

Of course with Elmo being the star, his clip comes first. What's interesting is how Cookie Monster's debut in the first episode comes immediately after, followed by Abby Cadabby's debut. Sometimes it seems Cookie Monster is Elmo's biggest co-star, sometimes it's Abby, and sometimes both Cookie and Abby share equal co-star status with Elmo. Regardless, it seems Cookie Monster is currently the most popular Muppet going all the way back to Season 1.

TPIRMan1982 was one of the longest-serving uploaders of Sesame Street segments, having been around for almost two decades. For his account to be hacked and no action taken by the user, it makes sense as to why his account got terminated. Or maybe the hacking was just a claim on his part and really he may have been legitimately terminated for other reasons - such as the looming release of older episodes to the show's official YT channel, and if the latter is true I expect other longtime users will eventually be impacted.

I kind of wonder if TPIRMan1982 hadn't been logged on to YouTube nor uploaded clips for quite a while and he was likely blindsided by the hacking incident?

Regarding TPIRMan1982, I remember some of his history. He was also a die-hard fan of the game show The Price is Right, and he even has (or had) a DeviantArt page where he showcases/showcased his art depicting Minerva Mink or some other animal acting as a model on the show, implying he has a strong obsession with Minerva Mink - I don't know what cartoon show she is from. He used to be an active member of the Golden Road forums (that site may be in limbo now) but he got banned for some unknown reason. Despite his username depicting TPIR, he uploaded a lot of Sesame Street segments, mainly aired/rebroadcast during the 1980s and/or 1990s, but he only uploaded just one TPIR episode - the November 26, 1997 episode with a contestant named Cinderella.

He was a pretty active uploader who was usually frequent with uploading train station and LED light videos in Mass outside of his SS uploads.

I really think it’s an extremely likely case one minute he’s using his account, next thing he knows, he can’t log into it anymore because the email and password were both changed and ultimately couldn’t do anything about it but let the hacker take control over it.
