In this episode, It was windy, Oscar got a lot of trash but some of them can be recycled. Ji-Yong comes in and play I Wonder If We Can Use This", Big Bird, Cookie and Abby went on first and wonder what they can recycle using a cup, then Gabriella, Elmo and Zoe wonder what they can recycle with a full colored paper, finally for the tie breaker, they tried to wonder what goes with a metal board and a giraffe magnet. They use it to hold Chris' recipe of Cookies from blowing away. We get a new segment where a boy named Austin learns about recycling, In a new Mecha Builders segment, Mega Elmo, Abby and Cookie celebrate earth day by using things to pick up trash without gloves, We get yet another new segment about a boy and his mom recycling 2 sheets of papers and making new ones and finally You and me solve a mystery with Elmo and Tango's mysterious mysteries where Elmo and Tango find something that belongs to Oscar.

Kinda no longer thinking that Telly and Zoe will be retired for season 56.
If anything, i'm starting to think they could make their FFF (Furry Friends Forever) art style debut! Where? "Tales from 123".
There have been 11 new street stories so far this season.
Zoe has been in 4 of them.
Telly has been in 3 of them (4th confirmed appearance in 5528).
That's about ⅓ of all the new street stories so far.
And Snuffy's retirement i'm also starting to doubt because of 5517, "Snuffy-sized Sandwich", on May 8. That's essentially s Snuffy episode.
Plus, why would they remove anyone who's on the mural.
And no, Prairie Dawn finally disappearing completely is no longer a expectation of mine either. She's gonna be in 5517 AND 5528.
Honestly, the only Muppet i still expect to be retired is Gonger, as he is mostly in the foodie truck segments that are most likely going away.

A couple of questions about this episode:
  1. Is this the first episode with the letter "R" as the letter of the day in over two years? I could have sworn it wasn't used last season?
  2. Regarding the film segment with Aunt Sonia, was Aunt Sonia a one-time role for the actress who previously played Maria? I know the actress retired about a decade ago - but I am sure there have been actors/actresses who have returned for one-time roles, just like freelance reporters doing news reports after they retire from journalism.

I think, if any characters are retired, it's likely Farley, Betty Lou, and Mr. Chatterly. Many of the characters whom many generations saw over the many decades still appear on the show - if seldomly. Characters only get retired if parents voice their concerns over a child's behavior being copied from a character (Don Music is a good example, though Don Music did appear in one episode a few seasons ago, but without his controversial head-banging - I cannot see Don appearing again with a voice role).
