Having watched all 10 episodes, I agree with you.

Whether or not we get a second season, hopefully this will lead to more spinoff shows focusing on characters outside of the major players, like Pigs in Space or that proposed Uncle Deadly show from the early 2000s that never came to fruition (now that I'd like to see).
I definitely liked the cameo of Statler and Waldorf at the end. Hopefully if there's a second season more classic Muppets will appear. We may need to get used to Matt's Kermit though. (Still trying to get used to Pete's Lips though since he spoke clearly on the 2015 series when Steve was performing him, but I'm starting to understand him more and more as I keep watching.)

Good ending overall. I think the whole "band breaking up" arc was more than a little rushed though, really wasn't all that necessary if everything was going to get resolved almost instantaneously. Nora meeting each member of the band to try to convince them to return seemed way too similar to The Muppets (2011) as well. On the bright side though, I enjoyed the Statler & Waldorf cameo, and I especially loved the return of the Mayhem bus.

In all, I'd give this an 8/10. The closing moments were a perfect way to cap things off, providing fans with a satisfying conclusion but leaving the door open for a second season of tour-related hijinks. Perfect as both a season finale and a makeshift series finale. Unfortunately, Disney pulled the plug, so it serves as the latter more so.

The Muppets Mayhem was a fascinating show. A rare in-depth look at a cast of characters largely reserved for the occasional line or two of comic relief in traditional Muppet productions. I think the 2015 ABC series really planted the seeds for this one (see: "The Ex-Factor") and deserves credit for creating a launching pad for more band-centric content. While short-lived, it was something unique and full of effort, and I wish it had gotten the opportunity to blossom.
