Original Kermit the Frog donated to the Smithsonian

At the American History Museum they have an Oscar the Grouch and a Sesame Street street sign on permanent display. They've had them for years - those are owned by the museum. They have the Kermit (along with several other Muppets) in the "Jim Henson's Fantastic World" - these are on loan. I...

Original Kermit the Frog donated to the Smithsonian

Read the article here While the original Kermit has been on display at the Smithsonian's Museum of American History before with his Sam and Friends cronies, they have all officially now been donated to the museum by Jane Henson. Can't wait until they're back on display for us all to enjoy!

Is 'Of Muppets & Men' worth the money?

I scored mine off of ebay for a cheap, cheap price since the person mis-spelled the title on the auction. I think I got it for $15 or so. And now it's autographed by Dave Goelz and Steve Whitmire! :) Jeremy

Muppet Babies 3 Disc Box Set 1984

Clearly you've found it on Amazon.com (albeit not a real DVD, just a bootleg that someone is selling) - why not buy it yourself? Why do you keep asking people to send it to you?

Your Thoughts: Kermit and Miss Piggy on America's Got Talent

You would think that if Steve was sick, that they would have just made it a solo-Piggy act. Or had Hasselhoff sing it with her. To be fair, unless it was Jim or Steve doing the performing, it was most likely going to be met with a "WHAT? That was terrible!" Let's be honest.

Your Thoughts: Kermit and Miss Piggy on America's Got Talent

You can tell it's not Steve purely from the lack of Kermit dialogue - it's 90% Piggy. If it was really Steve the scenes would have been written much better and Kermit would be doing more than nod. Jeremy

Muppet Music on new Universal Coaster

Correction - #901 is actually Moving Right Along, not the Muppet Show theme song. I've heard that the Muppet Show Theme will be on the coaster, but has yet to have its number discovered.

Muppet Music on new Universal Coaster

So Universal Studios (in Orlando) is debuting a new roller coaster where you can pick your own musical soundtrack, called the Hollywood Rip, Ride and Rockit. It advertises 30 songs to choose from - but there's actually 999 - including at least 2 Muppet tracks! To access the songs - simply...

    Muppets™, Music & Magic: Jim Henson's Legacy

Don't miss Dave- but I would also encourage you to see the Dog City presentation. If you haven't seen it, it's a great thing to watch. Lots of fun. I also enjoyed Commercials and experiments - if you haven't seen a lot of the early stuff from Jim's career, this is a great introduction to for...
