    My Theory On Elmo

I don't have anything against Mr. Kevin Clash per se, he seems like a great fellow. SO I wonder what he thinks about all the Elmoization happening, and who's exactly responsible for the spread of the red tide, so to speak.:concern:

    Earth Day!

I always thought it would be cool- and incredibly difficult- to make a puppet with living grass and small trees growing on it. But that would take a lotta patience, dirt, and showers. Who knows, it may happen! Hybrid puppets are the puppets of the future!:D Agreed, that T shirt is made of win...

Sewing ain't hard, per se, but sewing good takes a whole lotta practice I tell ya. I'm learning something new everytime I mess up on a puppet's construction (which is often!). It just takes practice, patience, and more sewing.

    CGI vs Puppetry

I definitely think you hit it right on the nosey, my friend. :) CGI still can't beat puppets in terms of live actor interaction.

    CGI vs Puppetry

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy mixed CGI and puppetry. In an interview with the actors who worked alongside the enormous "Vogon" puppets, they expressed their fascination with the process. They said, in contrast to the CGI, they could actually SEE what it was that was interacting with...

Yahyahyah, Rick Lyon sed he used REAL hair for KM's hair. of course, a wig made of real hair. U don't need to go that far, but just some fun facts that may come in handy.:halo: Everything else looks like it would be fabulous, but the Trekkie fur would also work for KM (maybe a little better...

    How to Make Puppet Eyes

I read that Rick Lyon used this custom-made machine that dispenses these "VacuuForm" eyeballs for his Ave. Q work. They're very high quality eyes, but I'm not sure if it's an easily attainable technique, machine, or material. Otherwise, I'd improvise on the eyes. I have always marveled at the...

How to make Eating Puppet Mouth

Fabulous! I was wondering how this allusion could be achieved without exposing the puppeteer's hands. Thanks for the advice!:halo:

    Bein Green vs. Rainbow Connection

Every time I hear "The Rainbow Connection," I bawl like a baby. It's so touching for some reason to me. SO I'd pick that one.

How to make Eating Puppet Mouth

I was debating in my head for a very long time how to achieve the puppet allusion of consuming, like Cookie Monster's mouth. I know the mouth has some kind of hole surreptitiously placed in it so that objects can fall into the puppet (and often on the puppeteer's head). But I have no idea where...
