Please, don't let your first be your last. My first one looks like poop. But I remember (9 years ago?) making my first and just being so excited about bringing a bunch of random, shapeless materials into something that had life and almost peed. So I kept trying, and now, I must say my puppets...
I agree, I typically glue making sure I have excess...and then trim it down and it works great.
However, if you would like to sew, again leave excess, fold it over to leave desired overlap and slip stitch...I think that would work.
If it were me though, I'd just glue it :)
I once saw an old Circus Wagon...it was probably the coolest thing ever. I thought about trying to find one and turning it into a traveling puppet theater but haven't found one like it anywhere..perhaps I'll just have to make it myself
To any of you who put on shows, I have a question for ya. What all do you use for lighting, where do you get it from, how much does it cost app. I am thinking about building this great show and I am trying to work numbers out...thanks for your help!
