Does anyone have an HQ picture of the crowd scene and a list of every Muppet that was in the finally? I know it's kind of far fetched and sounds easier said than done but I've recently heared that some rare Muppets where in there like The Land of Gorch Muppets and even the Emmit Otter Jugband Christmas Muppets. Which is surprising news to me and I tried to look for them when I seen the scene but couldn't find them. I know there's a lot of The Muppet Show and Sesame Muppets in there. How many characters were in that scene? I remember hearing that Jim hired a bunch of extra puppeteers from The Puppeteers of America to help out, and I think seen a few behind the scenes pictures somewhere on the internet which Jim directing rehearsal and the floor is numbered and stuff.

I don't think we'll see the light of day of a huge Muppet reunion anytime soon due to all the copyright switches within the back few years with Muppets going to Disney, Sesame owned by Sesame and Fraggle Rock still with Henson. But technically that's how Jim planned it before he passed.
However wasn't there something at the Music Hall, some tribute to Jim Henson where all the characters came back together in the first time in years? If anyone has a DVD copy of that, HD, send me a PM and we'll do a tape trade.

Also, it's interesting to note that all they were missing were Irving Bizarre and either Xavier from Sesame Street or Xomfie (the Pink Stalk) to have a completed alphabet of Muppets.

I heard there is an HQ picture of the crowd shot in the book "The Art of The Muppets". But that book is very hard to find these days, and I doubt anyone out there has it.
Hmm, interesting. I'll have to find it on my bookshelf and check it out. Thanks

Yep, there is a shot in the book. The caption for the photo says: "The climactic scene, 160 puppeteers and almost every Muppet ever made."

As for the tribute to Jim Henson that was at Carnegie Hall a few months ago. It wasn't taped so you won't be seeing a DVD release. Although there are some clips of it on YouTube. They didnt allow photos or video but obviously that didn't stop some fans. Lol.

Is it possible you can scan that pic? I'd love to see it.

Perhaps? Send me a PM and when I get around to it I'd could send it via email, tepending on the size because I want to kind of do a high definition one.
I just sent you a message.
