Yeah, but the shows are apples and oranges, especially the kind of contestants they get. The contestants on Jeopardy are usually calm, college educated trivia buffs who specifically get on Jeopardy for the show's sophistication. Not so much just then money, but to prove that they know a lot on various subjects. The only thing loud about the show is the theme song. It's not so much that they aren't excited, but they have a much greater deal of composure.
Price is Right, while the contestants aren't exactly idiots by comparison, are usually just normal people, sometimes younger, sometimes much older. And unlike Jeopardy, there's much more of a game in this game show. It's not exactly Double Dare, but it's a little more physical than Jeopardy. Not to mention the fact they call contestants down, where as in Jeopardy, the contestants are already at their podiums.
