Muppet Convention Thread #2: Where Should it be Held?

I kind of liked the idea someone had earlier about jotting down all of our ideas for what should actually be in the letter and then piecing it together. Then someone with finely honed writing skills *coughscoughsBorplesvolunteeredcoughcough* can take up the charge.

AGREED! I actually do like Team though because it takes away any airs and kind of fits in more with the spirit of the whole thing anyway. We're one crazy family and we work as a team to see this through.

On the subject of getting other fan groups/sites on board, are any of you on Tough Pigs or otherwise connected elsewhere? I just hang around here. I'm afraid the Pigs wouldn't like me.

OR, we could wait to hear back from Greenville. If they're supportive, that might make other fans take notice--it would be serious at that point, you know?

Specifically...um...to whom is this letter being addressed? Multiple parties? So in that case there should be multiple drafts? Obviously you aren't going to send one generic letter to everyone. You can have a generic outline and then the details would differ depending on who you were sending it go. IE A convention center vrs the mayor or what have you.

That's a great idea! I think someone on here should start up a HensonCon website, which for now we can use to plan the convention, and when it's all planed could be used to promote the event and maybe sell tickets.
