Group projects suck. I'll take solo every single time.

Best partner, though, was when we were allowed to choose our lab partners in 9th grade Bio. The guy I picked was one I had a huge crush on, and as his sense of humor was as twisted as mine, we had a blast. Best of all, HE was willing to do the actual dissections...all I had to do was draw and diagram what we found!
Yeah. Partner projects can be awesome, if your partner is actually someone that you get along with well.

EDIT: Boy, D'Snowth, all that about scared me to death at first! I think you have to calm down a bit...

I'm sorry, but I've held my tongue over all the great tunes that had been ruined on Glee over the past few years, but them ruining the work of Irene Cara, whom I love, finally made me snap.
Would you like me to throw a microwave at you, Snowthy?
I'm game.

Which thread were we talking about Two and a Half Men sucking again? I can't find it, so it seems this is the best place to put it...

The show HAS been steadily losing viewers since Ashton came on, apparently. And it's being dumped on Thursday nights come September.

I couldn't agree more with that sentiment expressed in that report. The show was stale for some time, but now it's just unwatchable. Like I said, it's the untitled Ashton Kutcher vehicle sitcom... They're turning Jon Cryer into Meg from Family Guy, and Jake and that other kid are Andy and Randy Pig/ Bebop and Rocksteady when they started to get annoying. I really hope the next season is so terrible they end the show. It's been on too long as it is. Especially since Mike and Molly and Big Bang Theory are far superior.

This is just one of my usual rants.....
What's the point of a long DVD menu? You have to sit there for about a minute until you can actually choose what you want to do. I don't mind if you can choose and there are stuff going on, but the fact you have to wait all that time is really frustrating. If you rent or borrow a DVD from the libarary, chances are it'll be scratched, which means, I have to restrart it sometimes, causing me to have to watch the whole menu over again!
Like in MTI on DVD to get to the bonus features, why must we watch Gonzo and Rizzo push the features menu onto the screen? It's not funny, what's the point?

You can usually skip those by pressing the chapter skip button

I don't think it works on the Lion King Platinum dvd though. Ugh. Now that is a long intro

Yeah, I usually keep pressing the chapter skip, or the disc menu button, but yeah, some DVDs don't let you do that, and you pretty much have to sit through all the FBI warnings, the previews/trailers, intros, etc.

You mean where Zazu is flying through the Pridelands before he notices the visitors, right? It is skippable. Well, at least on the European DVD.
