The Creator
By: BBF
I started out as a material,
Woven and sewn.
Patterns marking my being,
You and I became well known.

Green cloth, bulbous white eyes,
I became a Muppet.
You gave me a voice,
I was your puppet.

We grew old, you more than I,
Gray hairs and crinkles started at your eyes.
I stayed the same, still untouched,
But then you died, turning to dust.

The creator came and then went,
I still cherish the time we spent.
He left us, worlds behind,
Yet he still stays, on our minds.

A new voice was given,
Friends we became.
Yet, without you,
It's still not the same.

Do you remember me?
I'll always remember you.
I'm still your puppet,
Through and through.

Until someday we meet again,
Here's to you;
My dearest friend.

a boy and his frog
jim and kermit.
