Hello all. We have posted a video interview with Ms. Diane Houk, Executive Director of the Puppetry Arts Institute. She was a treat to interview, and their Institute houses hundreds of really cool marionettes, hand puppets, rod puppets, even shadow puppets and toy theaters. The interview is also available on www.brothersgromm.com. Please enjoy

Hi Muppet Fan 123
This interview was with Diane Houk from the "Puppetry Arts Institute"(PAI) located in Independence, MO. They're located not far from the old "Hazelle, Inc." marionette manufacturer in Kansas City. Hazelle was a contemporary of Pelham Puppets (in the U.K.) and Peter Puppet Playthings. Right now they have a particularly fantastic display of marionettes designed and built by Robert Leroy Smith. He was an engineer, a puppet builder and a puppeteer. Their website is http://www.hazelle.org/
And yes - it as a great place to go. Pady Blackwood's nephew works there!
