my fav ones from him was Imagine and Give Peace A Chance those songs made me want to become a hippie which i am now

Well no one should be shot, heh, but yes it was very tragic. I think John would have gotten a lot of his life together if he'd had a chance to live longer.

ah another Monkees FAN!!!!!!!!, " and i saw her face now i'm a believer"

I also have to say, Monkees music is fun to listen to, it's a step up from Bubblegum Rock and some talented ghost writers wrote that music... but the show's amazing. You see all these shows about Pop singers today, none of them are fun to watch. They're trying too hard to be Saved by the Bell or Full House (without the Screeches or the Uncle Joeys that made the shows watchable)... Monkees was trying to be Beatles movie style at first, but turned into something all its own. Like a live action cartoon that doesn't feel stiff or too cartoonish.
