But I will give a top five current non animated:

Big Bang Theory

30 Rock (it's current enough even though it doesn't return until next year...&&^%$# Whitney)

Think Spinal Tap, only more real. They actually were a real band which spawned from the show. You've heard I'm a Believer right? Well, the original was by the Monkees, not Smash Mouth
