Even though the FR animated series wasn't as good as the original series, I found some of the stories pretty interesting.

One animated episode I liked was, "The Funniest Joke in the Universe!" Boober ends up finding a lost scroll that had the funniest joke in the universe. It went like this. "Two Gorgs were sitting on a barrel full of ballooney-berries and one Gorg said to the other....." Boober contined to read it silently and said, "I don't get it."

Later he whispered the joke to Red and Mokey and they ended up laughing non-stop. It turns out the joke was dangerous and anyone who hears it will laugh for all eternity. Gobo said they needed to take Red and Mokey to the Fountain of Forgetfulness and drink the magic water so they'll forget the joke. On their journey. The laughing Fraggles end up whispering the joke to Gobo and Wembley and they got under the laughing spell too. So it was up to Boober to lead. They encounter a grumpy monster, but Boober whispers him the joke and the monster starts laughing. Soon they finally found the fountain and the laughing Fraggles drank from it and forgot the joke.

When they got back home, Boober suddenly starts to laugh. He said he finally gets the funniest joke in the universe. And the Fraggles had to take another trip back to the fountain.

Hey, that's such a good plot! I love it!
There's another thing about the FR animated series that I thought was pretty neat---the Muppet monster cameo.
