I see in various eBay auctions, and even some builders from here, talk about how they use various mouth plates, materials, thumb cups, linings, etc......and it just had me thinking:

Do you think that screen used original Sesame Street or Muppet puppets also have this kind of care put into them? I mean, these are for heavy usage, and the camera can cover up many flaws or imperfections.

I just wonder if they are even as nicely built inside and out as some of the replicas out there?

Some are and some are not. It depends on the maker, the use and how much time they have to build it.
